π² Plus: A save feature that rescues articles from your inbox, how to find the audio tab, and why the app and email work better together than either does alone
"The inbox is where newsletters arrive. The app is where I actually read them."
I open all emails so my favorite creators get stats credit for the open. My phone goes everywhere with me so I have access to the best newsletters (e.g. Screen Skills, Daybreak, More π€). Thanks for this π±π»
I only post articles from my laptop. Notes sometimes from my phone.
But I also mostly read on my laptop. On my phone I might listen to posts or read very specific newsletters. I never just browse and read entire article on my phone.
And I live in the home tab - that's where it's all happening. Quick question on that, isn't that the default setting on the app?
Then again, I'm also not really the target audience for this newsletter π.
I mostly read in the email. Why? I have the smallest phone possible because I have small hands and the larger ones are awkward to hold and use. They also weigh too much for my small frame to tote around all day. The downside of a small phone is that my 75 year old eyes are challenged by the size of the screen. Hence I read in the email, or if it occurs to me, I access Substack from my browser. Reading in the app on my tablet is an option, but I default to my laptop for most things because I prefer a real keyboard to a virtual one. Yes, I know I could add a keyboard to my tablet, but what is the point in that? I'd be juggling a device and a peripheral in my lap instead of just my laptop.

Screen Skills decodes Substack. Very useful and helpful information here.
I have been on Substack for years but just learned great tips for things I was unaware of.
Saves time and makes navigating the app easier. Thank you for this
This was interesting.

Yes itβs the default setting. The article got a bit long so Iβll cover the rest in a second article
Excellent thanks. I look forward to it.
